The power of female connection: A couture experience with Jacqueline van Lieshout

From the very beginning, HERVÉ has been about more than creating beautiful lingerie.

The name HERVÉ finds its roots in Brittany, where it means warrior ~ a quiet reminder that strength comes in many forms. To me, it's found in authenticity, creativity, compassion and the courage to be unapologetically yourself. HERVÉ is a place where craftsmanship meets conversation. A place to discover not only beautifully handcrafted lingerie, but also inspiring women, meaningful stories and genuine human connection. Every collaboration is an opportunity to celebrate the people behind the pieces ~ their passions, their journeys and the unique ways they're making the world a little more beautiful.

Some collaborations are carefully planned. Others simply find you.

Jacqueline first discovered HERVÉ years ago, stumbling across my work online and quietly following the journey ever since. More recently, as I found myself reaching out to connect with inspiring, like-minded women, she was one of the first people who crossed my path online. One conversation later, it felt as though we'd known each other for much longer.

Just a few weeks later, she travelled all the way to Barcelona to spend the day at the atelier. Together, we fitted a custom-made bodysuit, taking the time to explore every detail ~ from selecting the perfect fit to experiencing the craftsmanship, the materials, and the many hours that go into creating each piece by hand. There was something incredibly special about seeing Jacqueline experience HERVÉ by Céline Marie in person. Feeling the fabrics, watching the garment come to life, and taking a moment to appreciate her body exactly as it is. It reminded me why I started this brand in the first place.

We ended the day with a photoshoot, styling the bodysuit both as lingerie and as outerwear. When Jacqueline slipped on her elegant tailored suit, everything came together effortlessly ~ delicate lace meeting timeless tailoring, softness meeting strength.

Meet Jacqueline: It Wasn't Her Achievements That Stayed With Me. It Was Her Energy.

For those of you who haven't come across Jacqueline before, she's an author, coach and podcast host who has dedicated much of her work to helping people build healthier, more intentional lives. Through her books, coaching and podcasts, she explores everything from wellbeing and authentic living to relationships, curiosity and personal growth, inspiring thousands of people to reconnect with themselves.

What struck me most, though, wasn't everything she's achieved. It was her energy.

From the moment we spoke, her enthusiasm was contagious. She arrived at the atelier with genuine curiosity, endless excitement and such an openness to the entire creative process. She wanted to understand every stitch, feel every fabric, and experience each step behind the making of a bespoke piece. Being around someone who is so deeply passionate, present and appreciative was incredibly inspiring, and I think that feeling shines through in every image we created together.
